A Bird in the Park

It's been a busy past few days. But my walk home still permits me to enjoy the autumn leaves. I spotted this heron roaming the premises yesterday:
I usually only see these fellows around the rivers. I wish I could've kept my camera in focus.
It's starting to get nice and cold around here.
